New features in iOS 16
New Lock screen layout
iOS 16 will include a revised lock screen with widget support, customizable fonts, and a new, improved display that will allow you to receive notifications and information right from the lock screen. Live Activities, which allow users to check scores and follow the progress of food deliveries, will also be accessible by the lock screen.
Update for iMessage
As of iOS 16, users will have up to 15 minutes after sending an iMessage message to modify or delete it. For a period of up to 30 days following deletion, users can also restore recently deleted messages. Additionally, users can flag opened conversations as unread using a feature.
Improved Maps
The Maps app has seen a lot of improvements thanks to Apple. The latest version will display a number of new parameters, such as speed, car temperature, and other information. Like on Google Maps, users can add several stops to their route. Users of Apple Maps will also be able to monitor public transit costs. The app will also improve Apple CarPlay integration and new 3D-like visualizations.
Live captions, Live Text fast actions, and a shared iCloud Photo Library option that allow you to share photos with your family by transferring them to a selected shared folder are all additional new features with iOS 6. However, this function probably won’t be accessible right now.
