Since it is now almost unthinkable for video game streaming service providers to bend the rules if they want to exist on the App Store, they are almost forced to offer their services through alternative methods. In other words, by making their platform directly compatible with Safari, the mobile browser of the Cupertino company. To enjoy Google Stadia on iOS 15, users need to change a setting in Safari. To do this, go to Settings> Safari> Advanced> Experimental features. You must then deactivate “WebRTC Platform UDP Sockets”. It is difficult, at this stage, to know whether this will permanently correct the problem or not. And be aware that some users still seem to have difficulty playing even with this setting disabled. Some are also entitled to gray borders when they play.
No one knows in any case where this problem could come from and if it is a bug in Safari or if Stadia needs to be updated to make sure it is compatible with iOS 15.
